There are many excellent therapists to choose from, and it can be tough to know who will be right for you. Here are a few things to know about me to help in your decision.

I work collaboratively.  I aim to listen with warmth and compassion, but I also emphasize working together, interacting, and sharing ideas.

I believe your past is important, and I also focus on present challenges.  Sometimes people considering therapy worry they’ll get stuck talking endlessly about their past and not get to today’s difficulties. Others may have tried therapy before and felt supported in their immediate struggles, but not fully seen as a whole person.

I aim to balance the two. I work from a psychodynamic foundation because your life experiences give us valuable information about how you developed into the person you are today. We will draw from this understanding to clarify what shifts and changes could help you better navigate today’s challenges.

I customize treatment to your unique needs.  My approach is integrative. I am trained in many modalities – including relational, person-centered, brainspotting, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, brief, and family systems therapies – and will incorporate strategies and techniques from these approaches to address your needs most effectively.

I support your personal growth.  My goal is not only to reduce your difficult symptoms, but also to help you understand yourself better and feel more connected and fulfilled in your life.

I work with adults and adolescents.  I have a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University and am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT). In addition to my private practice, I have supported teens, adults, and families as a school-based counselor at Dominican University, Tamalpais High School, Novato High School, Madrone High School, and Lagunitas/San Geronimo Schools.

I am a seasoned professional with over a decade of corporate marketing experience.  Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I earned an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and worked in brand management and strategy for a number of global brands. I have a solid understanding of the business world and can offer support to individuals who would like to work on professional challenges in therapy.

I am a licensed psychotherapist in California, Massachusetts, Washington State, and Louisiana. If you live anywhere in the state of California, Massachusetts, Washington, or Louisiana, we can work together through video or phone sessions. I also meet with clients in person at my office in Marin County, CA.
